Our whānau of listeners choose Atiawa Toa FM for local news, music, and culture. They thrive on both formal and social connections within the community, creating strong, vibrant environments with friends and whānau in offices, schools, sports clubs, shops, businesses, and marae. They live and breathe kaupapa Māori values, proudly calling our tribal tipuna land of Te Āti Awa and Ngāti Toa Rangatira their home.

Atiawa Toa FM news and views and music is bi-lingual te reo Māori/english meaning our station format includes the widest variety of music and promotes te reo Māori and culture. We're an active community business partner supporting and broadcasting from local events, festivals, sports fixtures, and more.

Atiawa Toa FM is the go-to radio station for thousands of Wellingtonians every day. Official radio survey results from GFK show that our cumulative audience ranges between 7-10k of listeners tuning in (4-week cumulative audience, all people 10+, Wellington) showing that our 31-year old brand is well-loved and trusted to this day.

We are proud to be a Te Reo Māori broadcaster, its our deepest connection to our people. We are here, 24/7, every day. We are Atiawa Toa FM.
